Let’s do this. I’m tempted to describe this endeavor as the Bataan Death March of reading (of re-reading, in fact), but that would be a gross overstatement. Besides, I’m looking forward to entering the DFW labyrinth again. I remember, concretely, very little of my first foray into his heart of darkness; I just emerged from it…different. I can’t say how exactly, but you can’t read Infinite Jest and not be changed in some way. This time around, I’m excited to track the change. Since I’ve been slowing down with blog posts, the Fuller schedule will give me plenty of material to work with.
We’ve consistently entertained the idea of composing a book of critical essays about Adventure Time, and who knows, maybe we’ll do the same for this behemoth.
