I’m sitting on IJ page 400 right now. I’ve been too exhausted to do much reading this weekend, what with SNOWZILLA and all.
It hit Friday afternoon at almost exactly 3pm. It didn’t stop until super late Saturday night. During that time there were multiple sidewalk shoveling episodes. We also took more than a few walks through a snow-struck North Baltimore, watched nothing but local news and CNN, and napped–a lot. All that napping came in handy because we just nearly broke our backs digging our cars out of the snow yesterday. Holy Christ there was so much snow.
Anyway, like I said, I’m at page 400 in IJ right now, 32 pages behind yesterday’s target and and 64 behind this Friday’s target. Fortunately, I’m behind only because of Mother Nature and not something from within the book itself. That means I should have an easy time catching back up, especially since work was cancelled for the second day in a row today.
And, just for funsies, here’s some pictures of the snow: from my front porch, from the sidewalk in front of my house, and of my snow-submerged car.
